Meeting of the Team for the implementation of the project "Ostrołęka – young people in the center"
A meeting of the Team for the implementation and implementation of the project "Ostrołęka – young people in the center", implemented under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Program, was held. A meeting of the Team for the Implementation and Implementation of the project "Ostrołęka – Youth in the Centre", implemented under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme, was held.The aim of the meeting was to assess the submitted applications of candidates to the Social Committee and to prepare recommendations for the Mayor of the City of Ostrołęka.The Social Committee is an important link in the process of project implementation – its members represent various local communities, bringing experience, knowledge and involvement in activities on the for youth and urban space development.
The Social Committee consists of:
1) Representatives of the inhabitants of the city of Ostrołęka and the municipality of Rzekuń:
a) Bartosz Stryjewski – a long-term activist for the local community in the area of m.in. culture and education, with organizational and communication skills, with experience in working with young people,
b) Marek Żebrowski – involved in the activities of the local community, having the skills of cooperation in a group, motivated to achieve goals related to local development
c) Sylwia Drężek – knows the needs of the local community and the goals of the project, has communication skills necessary for dialogue with both residents and other members of the Committee,
d) Aleksandra Boruch – has been involved in social initiatives and civic projects for many years, is able to effectively cooperate with various communities, inspire to act, will make sure that the voice of residents is heard in the process of project implementation,
e) Anna Truszkowska-Aptacy – will actively participate in activities for the benefit of young people, participation in the Committee will allow for the creation of a friendly, functional space that meets the expectations of this age group,
f) Anna Bloch – has organizational and communication skills as well as professional experience in the field of education and business, develops competences in an international company; will contribute to building a positive image of the city by integrating young people and residents, encouraging them to actively participate in cultural and scientific events,
g) Anna Mynyk – a teacher with many years of experience, a person involved in social activities, has experience in organizing events for seniors and skills that will allow to establish a bond between residents of different age groups and environments.
2) Representatives of non-governmental organizations:
a) Iwona Choroszewska-Zyśk – President of the Kurpie Association, for many years he has been dealing with, m.in example, regional education addressed to young people and the protection of cultural heritage, has experience in journalism, editing and promotion,
b) Ireneusz Żuchowski – representative of the Ostrołęka Scientific Society – has experience in the implementation of educational and social projects, knows the principles of inter-institutional cooperation. The acquired skills will allow for effective cooperation and organization of initiatives serving young people in the local community and their integration with the educational, local government, scientific and civic environment.
3) Representative of entrepreneurs – an organization associating entrepreneurs:a) Mariusz Mierzejewski – entrepreneur and President of the Ostrołęka Economic Forum, the experience and knowledge gained will allow to engage young people in the social and economic life of the city, will actively support dialogue with residents and young people, as well as inspire them to act and help create initiatives that build a modern and open image of the city.
4) Representatives of public institutions:
a) Wioletta Czaplicka – as the Director of the Library in Rzekuń, she is involved in the life of the local community, which will allow for communicating the needs of residents, the implementation of cultural and educational initiatives, she has experience in supporting civic activity, which will contribute to the effective implementation of the project goals,
b) Katarzyna Kossakowska – Director of the Municipal Public Library in Ostrołęka, has knowledge and experience in the implementation of projects dedicated to young people, integrating the cultural institution into the project will create an open space for identifying needs and implementing initiatives for the benefit of the local community.
5) Representative of the expert community:
a) Łucja Lisiecka – Rector of the Higher School of Public Administration in Ostrołęka takes care of maintaining constant contact with secondary school youth, and participation in the work of the Social Committee will be an opportunity to better learn about the needs, especially educational, of young people and implement it in the activities of higher education.
6) Local leaders – people with experience in civic activities:
a) Bartosz Śnieciński – City Council Councillor, MRM supervisor, local government experience and acquired knowledge will allow for substantive and organizational support in the project, effective communication with residents will allow the results of the project to meet the real needs of residents,
b) Jakub Frydryk – President of the Centrum Housing Cooperative; long-term activist for residents, involved in social and integration initiatives, characterized by knowledge of the needs of residents, which will allow for dialogue between different social groups and cooperation between the local government and residents as the key to building a modern and friendly city,
c) Przemysław Drabot – a person involved in civic initiatives, has construction licenses and technical experience, which will allow for support in the project in the field of infrastructure, planning and practical implementation with care for their functionality and durability, also an active organizer of local events.
7) Representatives of the youth council / senior council:
a) Natalia Wekwejt – a resident of Ostrołęka – a representative of the Youth City Council is involved in student initiatives and local government activities, has experience in organizing events, in teamwork and supporting the school community, originator and organizer of a nationwide charity action for children staying in hospitals combined with a public event, participation in the Social Committee will allow for the expansion of social competences and will make a real contribution to the achievement of social goals,
b) Anna Glinka-Suchcicka – a resident of Ostrołęka – a representative of the Council of Seniors, involved in the affairs of seniors, will actively communicate the needs of this social group.
8) Representative of the project implementation team: Monika Leszczyńska – employee of the Ostrołęka City Hall.
Based on the recommendation of the Team for the Implementation and Implementation of the "Ostrołęka – Youth in the Centre" project, the Mayor of the City of Ostrołęka issued Ordinance 356/2025 on the announcement of the results of the recruitment of candidates for the Social Committee for the project "Ostrołęka – Youth in the Centre".

The creation of the Social Committee is another step in the implementation of the project, the aim of which is to create a friendly, functional and inspiring space for young residents.
